    Is there much public ground out there? My wife wants to be out that way somewhere, but I refuse due to not being able to hunt much public ground.

    And you can miss a single strand and it get out in the lot. Can't find; Oh well. Rain, snow, stock tromps over and it is gone, no way to find and get put away. UNTIL YOU GO slipping across with you hands full of a feed bucket, big wad of hay, or some tools.. You will find it, on your boot toe..

    Lots of public land in Newberry and union counties. The Sumter national forest. Also lots of game management land in Greenwood and edgefield counties. Also a lot in the more mountainous areas of oconee and Pickens counties. I kind of live right in the middle of all of it in northern Laurens county and southern Greenville county.

    Of course it’s not like the western states.

    Indeed, our house is about 1915, from what I can find. The original, well done things are no issue to deal with. It’s all the other yahoo’s over the years doing the rest that are tougher to deal with
