Didn’t get to highway, was around country secondary roads by golf club I worked at. We were going 90 to 120 on the twisty country roads. Anytime that I got on brakes and downshifted it would bite, and then tear arse off again. Have moved faster in vehicles, never accelerated like that before or since.
It ran like a scalded dog, right up to 9000 rpm

we got out from the golf club, the owner of the car offered me 50 bucks if I could scare him. There is a 90 degree turn at the top left corner of the island. I made 50 bucks. Didn’t leave the island though. I shudder to think what something like that can do on open highway. It took that hard 90 degree over 60. Tires moaning a little.
If you zoom in a bit you can see elmridge country club, we left there and turned right, did the old road around the island quickly. It was test drive track for the hole in one cars delivered for tournaments

the straight away to the back of the island disappeared in a flash. Lots elevation changes on that old road. Enough to leave the pavement a few times
