We just helped my daughter buy a 2021 Kia K5 EX. Just under a hundred thousand miles . I don't know crap about them but it was a good deal from someone we know, it's had a couple recalls done . Guess time will tell. It's for the granddaughter that's her all excited. ATTACH=full]574879[/ATTACH]

I just found out my daughter had a medical emergency yesterday. She wasn’t feeling well when she started her flight from London, and by the time she landed in Charlotte, she was dizzy. Somehow, she made it to the hotel instead of going home. When her husband couldn’t reach her on either her cell phone or room phone, he called the hotel. She was taken by ambulance to the ER, which I believe was at Carolinas Medical Center. She was released this morning and is now back home in Fayetteville, with her Army PCM taking care of her. We’re waiting on the test results, and I’m a bit frustrated that no one called me until she was already home. This will NOT happen again!

Nice, like I had said to Jolli, I am impressed with their vehicles. We share an entrance door with our mechanic shop neighbor, meaning we know each other well ,we have easy access to each other’s shops.I will often pick his brain about car stuff. He also likes the Kia/hyundai products.

    She sure does look happy!

Not trying to tell any one their business, just a suggestion. My mother had a driving school for a few years, part of her course like it or not was learning the locations and fluid levels of the vehicle, and all students had to change a tire with the vehicle tools before driving it. She wanted prepared drivers. Could be a good task for a generous grandpa! :D

My brother had an Optima, it left him sit over in the Buckeye in the middle of the night. 3k miles out of warranty. Can’t remember exactly what was wrong, but it was some engine issue. Got a friend of a friend to haul it to the closest dealer, they fixed it free of charge. Said they knew that model had some issues, and were willing to stand behind it. He asked how long they would actually repair that selfsame issue, and the dealer told him they will over ride the mileage limit for warranty if it’s a common problem. He was quite pleased! Lost control/ missed a turn on icy roads about 4 months later and completely totaled it. Musta been happy, he bought another very similar to replace it, a lot more loaded.

Good to hear it is most places that are doing it right. Good customer service and support is the easiest way to get a long term customer. Happy that you were able to get your work done despite the fuel issue on the big truck.

    Good advice. Rely on yourself.
