    Why we all ran Dothan to Cottondale on US231 to get on US90 in FL. Avoid all the little local LE types tween Donaldsonville, Bainbridge

    Cherry on AZ roads your question on ditches? Hell, they did not erven have culverts on US80 back in 56/57.
    How they manage you ask?
    Just grade a "sag" in the road for the needed width, stick a sign of "DIP" on each side and brag on engineering.

    EG below but no signage. Lower the cut to the visible here to a flat bottom and have one...
