Its not the muffler bearings you need to worry about, its that POS dpf/doc filter. When you're ready to streamline that exhaust and get that truck tuned properly (not necessarily making more power) let me know, I got the connect.

Make sure you're oil pressure is up around 25psi at a hot idle and 38-40 when spinning some rpm.

The fuel systems on the later model ISXs run a real high fuel pressure and if the fuel pump lets go it can trash the engine.

With that 13, set up right that engine can get 7mpg running flatbed. Im seeing 6.25ish on a brand new engine and Im not gentle on the throttle.

WesternPlains, D.Tibbitt and dwells40 Thank this.

I had a similar situation as you. I got the oil changed 15,000 miles ago and now the tag bulb is out on my trailer....those guys are the worst!

So if I watch that while sitting in the driver's seat in an On Duty status does that count as my Pre-Trip??? Or do I have to sing-a-long too???

    Lol

I think you only have to log on duty if you participate in a sing along. That will also count as a pre trip. If you are just watching it with your mouth shut it doesn't count.

I thought it was the piston return springs that had gone bad.

Dude there's not even a single good reason to go to Canada, let alone in a big truck.
