The reason it’s called Cat Chow Curve is a couple years ago a truck flopped over and spilled its load of , you guessed it , cat chow.
What if it Snows?

We’re around 90% residential, our contract is favourable to us, and everyone has to sign(save for a few long term customers, 30yrs in some cases). We guarantee to have been by before 7am, and again before 5pm. To get everyone out and back in. We bill for the headaches. The big commercial contractors all have to play ball with the local “neighborhood associations” so to speak. We stay under their radar
We bill lots for the headaches, and won’t hesitate to send it to collectionsLast edited: Nov 29, 2025

We were the same on the guaranteed clear by 7, where that broke down, was when someone just wanted to call in if they wanted you. And they could never understand why that put them at the bottom of the list. One residential we had that we were bugged to lose was a surgeon. He had a nice long paved drive, and he had to be kept open 24/7. Never complained about the charge, or when we swung through in the middle of the night. We lost him when we lost our contract with the Frontier phone line buildings, he was far enough away, it wasn’t worth making a special trip just for himFeedman, JolliRoger, hope not dumb twucker and 8 others Thank this.

Do you still practice electricianing? That’s a great skill to have laying around the house to use when you need itFriend, Feedman, JolliRoger and 8 others Thank this.

Doctors are great for business, the real headache clients will find us busy the next year. The local contractors have a shared black book that people get in for withholding payment, no one will take them until it’s settled. We prefer to go overnight if at all possible, the noise is the noise. It’s a 5 month contract, no exceptionsFriend, Feedman, JolliRoger and 8 others Thank this.
