You could put a piece of stick cinnamon in a jar with some maple syrup, like with your hot peppers. I’m sure it would take up some flavour that way if left in there for a bit

I did tankers for a couple of years. Back hurt. But I liked the work for the most part. Tank washes had showers , TV, and you could get food delivered. There are worst things to deal with. I did cryo too, no surge on that. Very clean as well. Smooth bore there is surge. Always massage places near by tank washes.

 

Crude oil has baffled trailers. Same with some waste water trailers.
