I could live with that, we get Alberta's oil, they get the headquarters for Target, yeah I'm good with it, if you could get them to want the short end.
What if it Snows?

I made good money hauling crude. But when oil went from 130 to 28 money went away real quick. Not a bad job.
Hauling water, it can be real dirty. Crude I was paid hourly. Water was job/run pay. Water is a vacuum truck. So you suck up spills as well as haul water.074344, austinmike, exhausted379 and 11 others Thank this. -
Nope, didn't even get that much.
I had a good talk with the company shop manager. He explained a bit about what goes on with this company in the levels above us, and told me that my dispatcher has been pushing to put me in another truck since the second breakdown.
New trucks are coming in, but apparently some of them are having major issues fresh from the factory.
They used to put the used trucks up for sale at 500,000 miles, but they've apparently upped that to "run it 'til it blows up". My truck has 684 thousand and change, this spare has 690 thousand plus.
They're tryna grow, so we're caught in that ugly phase of expansion where the money is tied up in capital investment, but everything is still in progress. We can't get the additional work until we get the trucks and drivers and trailers to cover it. Seems a bit of a house of cards to me.....one good eff up and the whole scheme will collapse.
I doubt I'm the only one who had to eat that much time, but I told them I can't financially weather another 50 plus unpaid hours, full stop.
I'm hoping for the best, but reactivating my Driver Pulse app.
Sorry for the long post. I guess I just had to vent.....austinmike, Sons Hero, exhausted379 and 14 others Thank this. -
You ever thought about getting a goat, there is a guy up here that has a bunch of them, he rents them out to land owners and forest service for vegetation control, then when the times right off to the market they go, rinse and repeat, he makes pretty good money off something he had a relatively small investment in.074344, austinmike, Sons Hero and 12 others Thank this.

You just used a double preposition. Now with that being said, I don't have a clue if you did or didn't. I just remember Diane telling Sam that, and thought it would sound good in this spot. Since I seem to be taken way too serious just know I meant this to be light hearted.okiedokie, ElmerFudpucker, austinmike and 12 others Thank this.
