A nurse put ‘The View’ on his room TV. The man woke up and changed the channel.

Sent an agent to a meeting; with a look alike briefcase to the enemy main man there, cases switched, timer ticking, agent departed.
Agent had been told; after the meeting, simply walk down to the corner and a car will meet you there...
He is near the corner when the briefcase he left goes KABOOM...
Thinks; mission accomplished, and steps off the curb to cross to the agreed corner.
Whereupon; a heavy black sedan roars up, and flattened him dead....

My grandmother was a Frenchie. She could cook hearty farmer food. Fried chicken in a frying pan was quite good. Anything she made was good she grew up in Indiana/Illinois speaking French all of her brothers sisters spoke French. This is in the 1910s. Back when you had towns that spoke the old language. Like Wisconsin having German speaking towns.
