Been cold here too, and if I think about how rotten the last 3 days have been, I be likely to get depressed. I’m assuming it’s the weather, but hogs don’t want to move AT ALL, the last 5 loads have taken anywhere from 2-4 times as long as they should have to load, and when you are truck #4 in the queue, that snowballs out of control rapidly. Makes a disaster scene of the schedule on my own farm… been running flat out since Monday at 0400, got a 2 hour nap yesterday, and another 1-1/2-2 hours early this AM. I can run on little sleep, but not that little, for long term. Lost my passenger side trailer lights last night, seems like a rubbed through wire, but instead of fixing it like a real owner operator, I dropped it off at a truck shop on my way home, and told him I’ll pick it up tonight. He says it’ll be ready to roll. I am headed for bed, Jack. Oh, and the heifers knocked the molded drain plug out of their auto waterer, and flooded about half an acre. There, got my negative waves out, I’ll sleep like a baby

 

Observation...
Electrical contractor who upgraded the electrical prolly retired happy and rich, just from visible. And if a basement or adjoining kitchen????
