    I went and tarped my load of shingles yesterday to keep any eyes from seeing them and maiking them disappear. Took my winch bar and some bungees with me.

    I just left the house and realized about 10min down the road I forgot them, so my wife is bringing them to me. Durrr.

    That’s something I had trouble accepting back when I was in the building trades. There is a hell of a lot of politics in the construction field, and the pipe trades are the absolute worst I’ve ever seen for that. Don’t you dare try and demonstrate competency with soldering copper at a plumbing outfit too soon, or all kinds of people will get offended. I heard all the whining back when I was pulling pipe wrenches.

    “Gee, when I started I wasn’t allowed to pick up a torch for 6 months...”

    Well, how is it my fault you have no initiative? :rolleyes:

    Guys with a “get it done” attitude are frowned upon.

    What pisses me off is people that choose what system the co uses has never spent a min driving a truck and doesnt realize how stupid some of the user interfaces are.
