It would just be a guess, but the driver, owner and dispatcher are probably back in their own country safe and sound?
The wrecker wants to get paid!

That would be my guess also. This used to not be much of a problem. Nowadays if the wrecker company gets the call and it's not blocking the road they'll call the carrier and see about insurance before going out.

Just call a crew of Koreans. That stuff can’t possibly stink worse than that nasty #### Koreans eat.

Ah, new generation is wising up. Somewhere back in here is a post of my education.
Basically,we lived in the country and a nearby road was a local "Lover's Lane." Darkness, passion, liquor and narrow road mix.
These would lead to a man coming up on our porch, late at night wanting to know if someone would bring a tractor and help them.
Daddy always roused me and said: If you want to go do it, OK. I had done a few and had Rogers nearby wrecker service operating.
Went out; guy rode the drawbar, seemed nice. Hooked him up, pulled him out, got off tractor and unhooked from him. Wrong.....
He hollered "Sure thank you son", closed the door and drove off. Left me standing there with my .. well, chain in my hand.
From then on, it was priced at the house, paid at the house, left at the house or that big red Farmall "M" did not get disturbed.
Had occasions where the lover could not come up with the cash ($10.00) and they walked away.
There is no telling how much money that little experience has made me over the years. (Adage.. "You can get work easier than payment.")
