Dad was recently looking at a triaxle dump truck, HX with the set forward axle, I thought it looked like a nice truck! My youngest brother would have been its primary driver, and he made ferocious about not liking it, so they didn’t finish the deal, but I think they look like about the best IH has left. I’d be willing to try one myself I think.

I’ve owned several 9200’s, 9400’s, and a 5900. All good trucks. The dashes after around 03 or 04 were junk. But that’s all I can say

Well, actually, it is not only trucks or cars...
Practically everything is now so electronic, and bonded/sealed in plastic, you cannot even get into it to troubleshoot, let alone repair
And if you can, disclaimer of "No serviceable parts" is the only true text in the manual. But you know, the time is here and will get more prevalent for a person to do without a washer or dryer, as he cannot get the parts to repair, nor afford the "Technician" to come out.
The original modern dryer will return... 2 galvanized posts and 50 feet of SS wire... Lasts forever, the popular solar powered theme, amd no expense...

Generally when cooking chicken, the grill is at 325. Depending on the part, but usually looking to come off the heat at about 150-155 internal. On average resting for 10 to 15 minutes will bring that up to 160-165. Usually I put things in a stainless steel pan and cover with a lid for the resting time. Generally don’t put any sauces on before it’s on the plate. Will heat that up and have it on the side.

First truck I drove at first gig was a Pro star. Was Probly a 2010. Truck was comfortable and drove good but the sleeper shock thingys were shot and beat me to death. Wasn’t the trucks fault. We traded it in on a brand new Cascadia. Big improvement

Well, Something here some will know, some will "agree" and some will "disagree"
There are drivers who can drive a truck and really get it out ot it. Older model, different trans and rear. Still, rebuilt solid and complete.
There are others who are good drivers; and experienced, but can't quite top it off. Newer model, maybe 2 speed or an OD.
    Same engine and tire size....
The guy with the old truck accepts it, learns its ways and limits and uses his head to accommodate it limited capabilities.
The other really pushes his to its max and urges for more. No considering the terrain or traffic or road condition/build.
On a 1K trip, the old truck will occasionally be leading at times, and prolly be sitting in the yard when the other arrives.

Comes down to whether the man likes his truck or not. That is the reason I was hired and given old #12 by Jimmy Garrard,
because his friend who was coming to start looked at it in the shop and got a cab back to town. I did not love it or get happy.
But it was a truck and a job, and I was there. I ran old 12 from Starkville as far west as Nogales, AZ., north to Buffalo, NY, and
south to Miami. Spur off to Beresford, SD and Scotts Bluff, NE and all over IN,IL, and MO. 450 engine, 5 speed OD, 20" tires. no two speed.
Ran in, with, along side, and sometime there waiting on them, with newer R195's, and a R220. I just liked my ole truck and drove.
Guess I was adequate as was given the 1st new V8 they got. And was always given good trips.
Your brother would have never been successful with the truck he did like. Would not have given it a fair chance.
Why does Roger and Shorty get all them long trips? Because they go and come and take care of the truck and the load.
