This load i got was a load of those side by side polaris atvs. My bills say they have a value of around 16k. And the place i delivered to had the same model that i delivered sitting on the lot and it had a 26k price tag on it, so they buy it from manufacturer in mexico for 16k or maybe even less and mark it up that much . And they didnt look like they was hurting for customers. Crazy what people will pay for something like that.
WesternPlains, dwells40, Rocks and 1 other person Thank this. -

I was thinking one with a small dump bed on the back of it could be useful around the property.
Right up to the time I noticed the prices on used ones.
Ticked off the sales person when I told him I could pull together an old Jeep CJ with a PTO and 3 point on the back for less than they were asking.RidgeRunner731, WesternPlains and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
They do seem fun. But man 26k is just to much money. I remeber when u could get a real nice brand new car for that much money and im not even that old. And the thing that gets me is its all plastic. Not sure how well they would hold up to work and abuse. Just seems alot of stuff is way overpriced anymoreRidgeRunner731, WesternPlains, Blu_Ogre and 1 other person Thank this.

working in those kind of temps would be my demise. I've been in 110 degree heat exactly once in my life, and I didn't like it. not one bit. walked out of McCarran airport at 10 pm on a September night in Vegas at 100 degrees and felt like I got kicked in the face. it got to 110 that week, took me 4 days to not bust out in a sweat as soon as I walked outside. brutal. hats off to you guys that live and work in that ####. it ain't for me.RidgeRunner731, austinmike, WesternPlains and 2 others Thank this.

I worked outside in phoenix from 15 years old until i turned 21 n got my cdl. Started as the grunt with a shovel and worked my way to equipment operator. I pulled a 14 hour shift the day it hit 121 in phx. Man was that brutal. I rember me n a buddy would share a 5 gallon cooler of water and it would be empty by lunch break and didnt piss one time lol that heat is to crazy for me anymore . Glad i became a truck driverFlaSwampRat, WesternPlains, LoSt_AgAiN and 3 others Thank this.
