What if it Snows?

Check back every morning, Divide by two, so mine went by at age 45. Hard to recall it, so many wonderful events since.

 

Not explosive as Dupont 50% Ditching, But as I understand it is a big tank full of chemical. It is of a gluey consistency.
Apparently being drawn from in use and a valve got stuck up and no flow. The chemical idly began to build heat and expand.
When noticed; to risky then to amble up, read the thermos, and begin worry. Throw some water on it to cool and be OK. MEDIA flash..
Not enough water cooling, as it just burps along, getting thicker and heating up more while it does. Like yesterday, they got guts up and walked up to it and read the gauges they could not see from their hideouts. Temp up higher, still cooking off.
BUT.. There is a crack in the tank and this is good. Should GOD continue to bless the innocent there, the crack will let it leak down and compensate for the internal increase, hence no pressure explosion of shrapnel and 5 miles of toxic splash. (As media advertised.)

I know about the tank from what Missus Skillet told me: "Yeah, some chemical tank in California is about to explode and cause a Mass Extinction of Californians Event."

I said, "That's nice. How's the weather in Dayton?"........

 

In other news, I finally got a trainer, but we're off today.

Basically, they assign you to a trainer who does local work, and you demonstrate that you can follow the Company Pump-Off Procedure to the letter, without causing any mayhem.

This is my third Monday in this motel. Hopefully I'll get my truck Thursday.
