This is something I have noticed. The first house purchased had a 2 car garage. Only had one big door for the cars, but is was for 2 cars. That garage was huge, you could put 2 cars in it, open all the cars doors and still walk around everything.

Well fellers looks like im stuck here in BFE michigan until thursday am. Atleast there is a good pizza joint in the truck stop and they have mozarrella filled breadsticks, plus ive got short stories with uncle rays potato chips to keep me company. 1224191109.jpg

I am not sure how i got to chapter 34 already when i havent read chapters 1-33. Maybe i will have to buy 33 more bags to hear the full story . The only reason i bought these chips is because it is stamped on the front "not for sale in california". I will make sure to keep this bag and dump it in the california trash next time im there. show them what they are missing out on with these sweet bar b que uncle rays potato chips and short stories.

when that house was sold, Went to Merced county, and purchased in an “executive subdivision” Meaning that they had curbs, gutters and sidewalks with large house lots, usually .75 to 1.25 acres. and a kids park/ play area. The profits off the north bay house paid 75 percent of the new place.

Out of hours either way. Its all good. I will probably hop down to detroit thursday am. Still trying to learn which agents got freight in which area. The broker i just worked with they have non stop supply of these loads from texas up here to midwest so if i can find somebody that can get me back down there i could run this lane pretty hard

I built this house in 1990 with 15 grand of lumber. It cost another 18 grand to settle up with my sister when the Mother in law died. I sold it to Senator Link Chafee (R) in 2004 for $180,000.

    My folks paid $175,000 in 1981 for a 2 story, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath on a $55,000 income.

Their neighbors 3 bedroom ranch sold last year for $975,000.

On my folks "2 car garage with one door" you could get two cars in there and open the doora, but one had better have been backed in or you were climbing over the seats. When I was in 3rd grade my dad threw a hissy fit and bought an aluminum shed to store the bikes, the lawnmower, snowblower, grill, etc. He spent a weekend installing the darn thing before figuring out that to get the snowlblower in or out, everything else needed to come out.

With that 180 grand used about 80k to build on (was 7 acres, now 5 acres). For our current home. Went from 800 sqft to 1300 sqft.
