I had similar experiences like that with swift . The drivers for the mega companies it is like a cult and i felt like there was always office workers or recruiters planted like spys and they would come up to you and start talking to u about nonsense for no reason.. I kid u not with my last company about 6-8 months ago i was loading at a steel mill out of gary indiana. Setting up my coil racks and dunnage on trailer so i could pick up coil, well another driver pulls up next to me and starts going off how much hes making on his lease purchase deal with swift, on and on and on . then after a couple minutes of talking he ask me .

"can you spot me one of them coil racks and a couple rubber mats, i see u have a few extra?" .

" i have no problem selling them to u , coil racks cost $50 rubber mats ill give u a deal $30 a piece." u shouldve seen the look on his face lol look like he was staring at a train coming right toward him .

"Thats a little expensive dont u think?"

"Supply and demand my friend, u need what i got, and im not lettin it go for cheap."

"i was hoping u could just help me out, i dont have any money"

"u was just telling me how much money u making with swift lease purchase, these coil racks and mats should be nothing"

lol that ended our conversation right there and he ended up not being able to pick up the coil cuz he didnt have the right equipment. But whole time telling me how great of company swift was and how great being a LP for them was and how much money he made. I didnt tell him i used to work for them and everything he was saying was absolute BS. i feel like some company feed their drivers all this bs to make it seem nice but at the end of the day they show up to jobsites without the equipment because they cant afford it. and at the end of the day they dont understand the reality of their situation they only listen to what the company execs tell them . just like with my last company the per diem program that u guys helped me realized i was getting speared in the ###. I only took it from the companies perspective and never dove into it myself. The company makes it sound so nice but in reality u are getting effed like a 2 dollar hooker on new years day.

A lot of that food has European roots... France, Portugal, Italy...
Here is another one... however this is not made with salt but sugar.. so it's not really a salgado... but it's sold at almost any bakery and snack bars...

Croissant... a French crescent-shaped roll made of sweet flaky pastry...



There's a bakery on ground floor of my hotel.. they have a HUGE variety of salgados and sweets... lots of kinds of breads and snacks and sandwiches and pizzas and cakes and fresh made juices and smoothies... and other food products... I will post pictures when I can....

 

That depends where you buy it... there's pizza almost anywhere... any snack bar... beach vendors... pizza places... good pizzas here are thinner than the ones in America... but the variety is much bigger... and the sauce is fresh made with natural ingredients, not pre made industrialized stuff... And most Brazilians eat pizza with fork and knife... specially at a restaurant...
Some pizza places have a big list of variety of pizzas.... when I find that I will post it here..
