Uncle Bud & Aunt Fran headed out on the town. Pizzaiolo for dinner and beers at Jim's Bowling Alley.

OK, Some news to review and keep in mind for about a week...
I am moving to Kentucky; to the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, 100 Veterans Drive, Wilmore , KY 40390.
I am doing fine and the move is to accommodate our visiting. Two daughters in Lexington, and son in law of deceased daughter is in Versailles.

The 425 miles and a good 6 six hours has gotten inconvenient. When I still drove, off I went and stayed a week. no problem.
Since I sold my truck and moved from independent living to assisted living here, it has changed the situation. They came down 9/3 for my birthday, and came last Thanksgiving for the 41 person family meet up we have here in Tupelo. They came for me to make a 2 week visit 12/25/25 and until after New Years. All fine. But it makes them plan, meet, get things together, drive down, and have been renting a BNB.

The opportunity arose to get in Thomson-Hood and I decided to move. Now, I will be living in a very nice place, only 15 minutes from either of the daughters and 25 minutes from SIL. We have a 11 month old great grandson there also. Visiting will be more easily handled and outings for doctor/VA/Dental appointments simplified. Fee there is some more, but they furnish TV and internet plus with the proximity to VA Lex, I will start getting my meds via mail from VA free. Could have earlier, but the mail service from Lex to Tupelo, and the haphazard handling internally precluded. So fee up a little, med, tv, and internet off, net difference is small.

I am looking forward to the change. We are packing up here Saturday 9/19. leaving Sunday, 9/20. I will stay with my SIL in Versailles Sunday night and Monday. Overnight in KY establishes residence. then on down to check in Tuesday. I will be away from computer for a few days.
