Was it a doctor, a “doctor” or a chiropractor that did your physical?

Or a mountain mama in the hills somewhere.

Believe you me Ive run into a few out here. I once took sick in toms brook with a fever and rested a day or two. While hydrating in the dining room back in the early 90's one was passing through. Asked a few questions and handed me a few items to take.

Hospital care it aint. But within half a day Im telling dispatcher ready to roll. (About [profanity] time you ....)

Sometimes Ive wondered about those #### things.

    I know the PA's do, NP's, I didn't know a chiropractor was considered a legit medical professional.

And to consider some of the people at contentra or some of these urgent cares, or even full blown doctors legit is a stretch now a days.

So anyway, I had a small bag of Ruffles and an order of bread sticks to celebrate.

pretty sure Chiropractors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians assistants are on the list of people that can perform physicals. Couple of years back had one done by the Chiropractor at the Petro in Reno. Last year was a local dude at a clinic that was a "physicians assistant"

    from the FMCSA site:
"Healthcare professionals wishing to become a certified Medical Examiner listed on the National Registry are now able to register. To become a certified Medical Examiner, you must:

    • Be licensed, certified, or registered in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations to perform physical examinations. FMCSA will verify this information with your state licensing board."
