The Ketogenic Diet: A Detailed Beginner's Guide to Keto - Healthline

    https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/ketogenic-diet-101

Jul 30, 2018 - The ketogenic diet is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that shares many similarities with the Atkins and low-carb diets. It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. ... It lowers blood sugar and insulin levels, and shifts the body's metabolism away from carbs and towards fat and ketones.

So 3 feet of driving snow east of rapid city. Whoopie. Motivating.

Just put the stranded people to work staying warm shoveling Ellsworth clear in the name of Dr Strangelove. (Those of you too young to know this one google it...)

We have a barometer at home big enough to get down that low. Or run up high.

We actually have a 1700's liquid filled tube with certain specific weights in it that rise and fall for temperature combined with pressure situation. IF the "Glass" is falling at sea and the wind is out of the north west It's time to come about and run SE on the broad reach port tack Away from the storm. If the glass begins to climb for you locally after about a 3 hour run you know for sure you are avoiding a hurricane.

I am rusting quietly out of the sea way down here in the south. Maybe I can find a lake wet enough to float the old jib jacks. 10 foot or something. Break all that rust off.

I think its humorous. The catch phrase "bomb cyclone". Weather people are using it too much and people are learning to ignore it when they hear it. Should have stuck with "storm of significant (insert snow/rain/wind) damage"

News organizations have to use names like that to make money to keep in business.

It’s too hot here for snow. I doubt if a septic tank could even freeze today.
