back in the 90's I rolled a 518 Cat skidder off the side of a lowbed and broke the trapezium bone at the base of my thumb in my left hand. I thought if I just held onto the old butterfly steering wheel I could ride it out. I was wrong, I bounced around in that cab like a ping pong ball and my thumb had relocated itself to the palm of my hand. when that bone breaks, it is a 50/50 chance of it healing properly. I got lucky and it healed, it took 3 months.

Oh my.... :biggrin_2555: Mr @Troy_ that was A LOT of adrenaline... I feel sorry for the other driver having an accident at the end... but glad he was ok... even though he was fired... You were all very "lucky".. it could have been pretty ugly for everybody....
Extreme weather makes your job extremely hard... and you a very brave man. I bet that people are very thankful for you being out there doing what you do.
    BTW, great posting... :yes2557:

Backed into a nice spot with beautiful green grass behind me at the truck stop. Went inside and showered in my Crocs. My preferred showered shoe. Walked back to my truck with boots in hand still wearing Crocs and stepped ankle deep in pig #### sludge behind my trailer. Never seen anything like it. All between my toes, up to my ankles and destroyed my freshly washed pants. At this point I can only hope it's pig ####. Nasty M Fs. This place isn't safe enough to walk your dog.
