When I hired here. Had one company’s safety department trying to get back at me. I had quit and told the CEO that the head of safety was a Barney Fife. He refused to give me drive cam video to prove my innocence on a ticket. I now have a ticket on my license. He tried to tell this company I had an accident. I didn’t. I threatened to sue that company for slander.

Trucking companies and about half of truckers suck.
On a positive note, Schneider has been pretty good to me. First and only driving job. And I'm not going anywhere

I don't quite understand why some ###-holes do that... why do they want to tarnish someone's record like that...? Sorry for what happened to you. But you did very well. Congratulations again!

I bought a dash cam years ago.. and got so used to that.. several times I could prove to the company what really happened, close encounters with deers and other objects on the road were merely non-preventable and never on my record.... Even when "crazy" drivers called my company to complain and tell lies about my driving, I could send them videos and prove right away what was going on... And I had "director of operations" telling them that they were probably "drunk" and if they called again he would send the video to police.... :biggrin_2559:

Dunno either. Mills tried to do it to me, and they're a pretty good company.
I think in my case it made more sense to charge an accident to someone they were going to run off rather than the slovenly trainer they assigned me to and who was really responsible.
    But.....whatever

Oh yeah... it makes sense... they need those trainers... but drivers..? for some companies, they are "a penny a dozen..." :angry2:
