The roads were wet with dry spots. I bet it was icy in the wee hours.

    Is that all?
We pay that for trucks with space comparable to a coffin.

That's just too much. I'd so love to have a kitchen. But that's $100K more than a nice brand new truck. Way, way too much. Bet the insurance on it wouldn't be cheap either.

It just needs that glaze on the road. Doesn't have to look any worse than that. I've seen same on I80. The cars start sliding off. That's the early warning sign. Next comes the supertruckers.
Slowing down is ok. But then you might get caught up in someone elses poor driving.

Man these guys take forever to load. Showed up at 1200 for my 1700 appt thinking i could get loaded early . Forgot i was in california lol no such luck. They only load one truck at a time and theres been 4 ahead of me . About an hour each truck. They are on truck #8 and im truck #10 on the list. Atleast they got a nice area to pull off and sleep til i get recap at midnight

Sounds like they will get to you within an hour of your appointment time?

And ready to run within 2 hours of your appointment time?

Sounds like they did a pretty good job of setting an appointment time.......

Yeah only got here early cuz only had 4 hours on the 70 and didnt want to wait til 3pm to get thru sacramento lol. Get recap at midnight looks like i may have to do 8 split or just take my 10 here. Just funny they got 10 forklifts running around and theres a guy been here 1 hour before me he is still getting loaded for some reason 5 hours later  they been bringing in trucks in front of him and loading , think they had a mess up with his load .
