Well a small container of them is much better to grind on while driving than potato chips.

    I like veggies though.

I'd pull raw cauliflower out of my lunch box on job sites, people would be making the Sign of The Cross and be backing away lmfao.

It's too bad I'm out of hours for the day cause the wind is starting to howl but coming mostly from the west, nice tailwind.

    Real life trucking situation here.

Go into TA to get milk for Frosted Mini Wheats.

Come out walking by 680 with hood up, smell fuel, see pretty good puddle underneath.

"You having problems with your fuel filter?"

Dude says,"It just got a new fuel pump now it won't start."

I notice this trail of fuel to where he's parked.

    He tries cranking it.

Fuel is pouring out from the fuel pump as if you knocked over a cup of coffee.

I'm like,"Dude. Stop. You have a bad seal, or the line is stripped or sheared off."

"I don't understand it won't start, they just fixed it." He's cranking it.

I'm like,"Dude. You're going to burst into flames if you don't stop. Either turn the key off or I will call 911 on you."

"Do you think they can fix it here?"

    Absolutely.

Well I think Baltimore SW loading butter onto the floor then about what? 210 miles to Hunts Point NYC and off the floor it goes? Within about 18 hours? It was usually a overnight run including the waiting.

When with another company we would run 4 loads flatbed tarped some days. Didnt even think about that until now.

Elk is suposed to be really nasty with wind tonight and tomorrow. I came over it today and the wind wasn't bad but there were some very slick spots.

Saw 2 rigs in the ditch, both fresh with drivers and troopers walk,g around assessing the scene.

At one point (about MM 250-253) there was a conga line of trucks doing 25 mph on pure ice in the right lane... I grabbed the snow covered hammer lane that had excellent traction and passed them all at 45 mph.
