    I'm home having hot coffee.

I have a load that delivers a few hundred miles away. I can deliver it tomorrow morning or Tuesday morning.

I'm really leaning hard towards Tuesday so I can just kick back here and enjoy the SB festivities.

Yeah, I think I'll just stay home.

I will be home watching the game. Coffee pot is going. Spaghetti and meats cooked for the sauces. Our schools are closed for two days, thousands of children sick with flu so Church today is out.

Dave, your wipers are looking a little tired already. Have you had them long?

Yes. The cou de gra was that early storm in WHY-OH-MING this October when they shut down 80 for 2 days.

    Was an ice storm mostly.

They actually froze to the windshield. I went to pull them off, and they came off, but in 4 or 5 pieces. Mostly the passenger side.

I have 2 spare sets on the truck in case of emergency.

    I thought so.

Ive been battling the curse of cheap wipers that gets used twice in rain and scatter bits and rubber all over the place. Im fixing to replace them with quality set and hope that will last two years this time. The big issue is they sit there and rot in the arkansas heat. So Im stumped.

All you can eat beef enchiladas last night at Jose’s. My son wanted pancakes for dinner. I miss central coast Mexican food when I’m out on the road.

I love super bowl Sunday. All the tourists and casual surfers are at home yelling at the TV. The rest of us are having an insane beach day and surf. Love it.

I remember ONE little eating place that is like a ancient gas station converted to like a 4 table diner with a fry cook on a hot plate stove. He produced some Texas-Mexican combined foods that were to die for. If you ignored the two flies chasing after you. This would be in the San Antone area to the west and south, near one of our older FFE drop lots that we commonly swapped trailers to pick up inbound USA loads from mexico.

I know I always have a taste for street food and so on, nothing fancy. But if it's done right it's worth a thousand miles before you need another meal. Thats the value I see in it.
