Thursday and Friday of this week are going to be messy (February 6 & 7).
One moment it is 6+ snow. Next moment it is 3" snow and 2" rain. All I can say is "get ready"

We expect a little noise and rain I think Tuesday but thats not the action that makes the locals stay in touch with one another.

I am resigned to experiencing a bad battery for whatever reason, next one is going to be a sealed unit no fluid caps.

An excerpt from a local TV channel about the weather here on Thursday-Friday

Our weather turns messy for the end of the week with two storm systems expected to affect our weather with one storm on Thursday then quickly followed by a second storm on Friday. At this point, the track of each of the storms looks very similar and is expected to be near the Maine coast. Precipitation with the Thursday storm looks fairly light with heavier precipitation expected with Friday’s storm. Right now, based on the current forecast tracks, it looks like snow from Dover-Foxcroft and Lincoln northward both Thursday and Friday with snow/icy mix and possibly some plain rain elsewhere. The exact track of each of these storms will determine precipitation types with a more northerly route resulting in a warmer storm and more mixed precipitation and rain while a more southerly route would mean a colder scenario with more snow expected so stay tuned to the forecast over the next few days as we get a better handle on the details.

Holy #### it was windy on the 101 south to LA and on the east 210.

NOAA said gusts to 80mph on the 33 and +60 possible on the 126 near Filmore. Thankfully my route was straight down the 101.

Pasadena was a dystopian nightmare. The sheer volume of trash blowing around was disgusting. I can only assume it was caused by tourists from the East.

Why are they closed? It's in the mid 50s here already. Can't think of a good to go box right close to there either. Probably The J in Ogden.
