    That appears to be a vintage F14 Tomcat fighter. Sporting a Battle Issued E no less. This is a picture that cried out to tell it's story.

    Well its not snowing in Wyoming... But it is raining.

    And there is 1, maybe 2, dead deer along the west bound side of I-80 in Nebraska at mile post 22... I nailed the one for sure, but then I heard a thump on the side they had come from... I think the next one in line might have ran into/under my trailer... I'll have to look closer in the daylight.

    That at the time was the oldest Tomcat in active service, and of course it was mine lol. VF-1 Wolfpack. That's my name on the nose wheel well.

    I finished two off, on I-84 in Utah just before 80. Some dude in a tanker got them first, and when they showed in the headlights, was snowing pretty good, there was no time for evasive action. It was like running over some really bad road. One had it's head up, they were BIG, muley's, blood all down the passenger side, and about tore the access cover off the APU.

    And it’s tax day — I woke up with a bad attitude and it hasn’t improved— might ditch the pickup after sending my chunk of flesh to Uncle Sam and adjourn to the local gin palace for the day. And it rained all night and is still at it.
