The OM has had it again. She's 9 months into the year end spreadsheet, and it's a BFSS, and all the numbers match. Daunting task. Hopefully be finished Friday complete. Then we can get some wheel time.

Ive had 1 instance where I almost fell off the trailer. I think I caught my foot on a strap and felt myself start to go off the front of the trailer, so I jumped and actually saved myself from faceplanting. Still a hard landing, but it was on my feet.

@D.Tibbitt Is that 1 tarp? It looks massive. And what exactly are you hauling that you had to tarp?

D.Tibbitt, WesternPlains and InTooDeep Thank this.

Looked like a water tank at the front standing on end. The rest of it could have been steel.

It is currently dusting some snow on the St. Louis area... KC and I-29 were very near skating rink conditions.

Somewhere between KC and St. Louis the earliest of the idiots started to hit the road... It got a little interesting a few times. And people think I'm crazy to running at night in less than ideal conditions... Im more comfortable on ####ty roads, in the dark, and alone than surrounded by idiots on perfect roads.

A flat bedder just pulled out of the J I'm at... Heard rubber dragging on asphalt, looked up to see black skid marks forming behind a set of trailer duals. Grabbed the radio and tried 3 times to raise him, he never even slowed down. SMH

Birds feasted all day yesterday. Had them lined up under the window to get out of the rain on the sill. Puffed up and waiting for weather to quit. For the seed we put down for the 50 or so, they will pay us back by removing bugs in the spring.

    I don't think they're allowed to salt I-29.

I had a trainer whom carried a tire crayon with him. First thing he did during pretrip was to draw a white line vertically on each of the outside side walls of the tires. Then when he pulled out he would drive a S curve and look to see if all wheels were turning.
