Well I'm not sure of a good eatery there... I never stop in Ft. Bridger.

But if your looking for a way around... US30 west to US/WY 89 north to US26 east to Casper... From there you can choose I-90 or I-80. Its a few miles longer... But if your looking at a full day long closure it will get you around long before 80 opens... I know I've done it more than once.

I really need to investigate that WY 28 this summer and see how truck friendly it is... Looks like it could shave a few hundred miles off that detour... But it also looks like it could be 10 feet deep with snow, or be nothing but hairpin switchback... I just dont know.

And i usually am 80k coming thru here never been this light before running 80 . But if they still got east bound closed i take the route u suggested , thank u!

It's a real pretty drive... I run US26 alot in the winter because they rarely close it, and almost no mega company idiots. Just make sure you top up on fuel first, no major chain stops up there.

@D.Tibbitt also... If you decide to drop back to 80 from Casper, you can save a few miles by getting off I-25 at the Wheatland rest area (exit 92 I believe, a left exit) and continuing on US26 to Ogalalla, NE
