I may run that route instead and just say F it to i 80 in the future, i even followed 26 from casper and its so much better than droppin down to 80 .

I so wish I had the time left on my clock to get over Vail... Currently no chain restriction for westbound side... But I'm sure there will be tonight...

 

From Idahofalls, ID to Ogalalla, NE there is only a handful of miles difference between taking I-15 to US30 to I-80 vs taking US26 all the way. So if you are coming across I-84 I dont imagine it would be much more whether you took I-84 to I-80, or I-86 to I-15 to US30 to I-80, or I-86 to I-15 to US26... All three are probably within 50 or so miles of each other.

 

Isnt there EVER a day any of you western snow and ice eaters DREAM about a glorious quiet beach in the sun?
