OMG.
Thank god I chased those carefree valley girls back in the day. I didnt catch but one in Salinas once. I should have stayed, she was a hell of a good girl. But eh... -
Or bigger containerships simply sticking a million horse MAN engine in the bay and rolling coal to hell with that dinky little canal. They get around it and be somewhere at point B delivered by the time anyone stuck in Canal traffic got out.Dave_in_AZ and WesternPlains Thank this.

They're saying the lake that feeds it is drying up.WesternPlains and x1Heavy Thank this.

Thats true. It was at one time a awesome water source. But it is actually drying up. Never thought never in a thousand years would it dry up like that. The new locks are stressing because they want to have the so called... save water easy flush version like we use in today';s toilets instead of the 5 gallon.
Get a floater? Flush the eco toilet 10 times to get that gone. So much for saving when you splash 6 gallons into the sewers. Might as well have kept that old fashioned 5 gallon full flusher HA.WesternPlains, D.Tibbitt and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
austinmike, InTooDeep, Wasted Thyme and 7 others Thank this.
