Watching that video made me sweat...and I was getting "nervous" every time he got too close to the wall.... And one guy says... "It doesn't help to get nervous... it makes it worse... gotta turn the A/C on and take it easy... " But all those folks trying to help makes it more difficult.... Those are the kinds of backings that I dread...
Like in tight truck stops...

I don't mean at all to lessen the abilities of that gal backing that Scandia. It still takes good skill.
I remember backing into a spot in Texas. This young guy got all upset. Jumped out of his truck. I was getting too close to his truck. I was right on his right front edge of his bumper. I got out anyways because I wanted to check the blind side. I asked him what the problem is? Look at all my angles. They're perfect. No? He agreed. I told him I can see him clearly. Only thing I'm worried about is the truck on the other side. I can't see him. This young guy finally calmed down and realized I knew what I was doing.
I watch guys backing up tight against me. They'll look back at me. Expecting me to be confrontational. I can see they're doing it right. Go ahead and get right close to me. I'll give them a thumbs up. Just to show them there ain't no problem here.
I remember watching a guy back in at the Pilot in Aurora Co. He backed right in. Real fast. I couldn't believe it. Place is tight. I had to go over and ask. Told him he's either the greatest driver in the world. Or he's just plain crazy. He broke down laughing. Said: I had a spotter. ... Doh! I didn't see the spotter!Cabinover101, Rocks, InTooDeep and 3 others Thank this. -

Drop and hook, drop and hook. The dreaded same door swap, pull the loaded and bump the empty.
Last time I hit this one customer there were not one, but two trucks from the same competing company in the way, basically doing what I was there to do, same door swaps.
While waiting, I was watching these folks and realized it would be less work doing two doors with two drivers at one time.
Single driver arrives; drop empty, hook loaded and pull from door, drop loaded, hook empty, drop empty on door, hook loaded and leave. 6 actions
Two drivers; D1 drops empty, D1 hooks loaded and pulls from door, D1 drops loaded, D1 hooks other loaded, pulls from door and leaves, D2 drops empty on door, D2 hooks other empty, D2 drops other empty on door, D2 hooks other loaded dropped by D1 and leaves. 4 actions each.Wasted Thyme and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
