What if it Snows?

Carnaval celebrations in some Brazilian cities start even earlier... on the first weekend of February... And if you are in the city of Salvador in the state of Bahia, they have celebrations constantly from December till end of March...
One of my best Carnaval was in the early 80's in Salvador... OMG!!!!! One full week without sleeping... dancing on the streets... no kidding.. but I was in my early 20's... and wild... I was trying to become vegetarian but couldn't find anything to eat without meat... so I didn't eat anything... went back to Rio after Carnaval and had hepatitis B

I am happy that the country likes to dance the winter away. Thats a good thing. Or in this case Summer.

In America we do a little bit of Carnivals now and then.

IF you really want to touch the people and their spirit find yourself a barn dance. usually someone for everyone and the caller is very busy keeping things organzied.

A "Good" carnival hired on to support a firehall fundraising etc will show up with plenty of food and generally quality rides for the children with a couple of biger ones to scare the teens. Spysder comes to mind. Its got about a CAT400 on it and a manual 5 Three seats times three rotating arms. Once the motor is up to speed the arms raise the spinning seats from horizonal to verhical and point them straight outside of the circle to make their own supporing arm "Up" with enough gravity to hold everyone n place. Many come unglued at this point.

There is a large powerful ride with about a 500 detriot which I like very much. Essentially several drive shafts to a bench seat and counter weighs. I think about 80 people fill the bench seat end ot end with special attention to keep sensitives out of the center an the far ends where the G's are strongest.

And off you go Its approximatey 110 feet up. You can only do so much with a long enough drive device.

 

Hey... it's 5:30 am here... I gotta eat something... take a shower and go to bed... Tomorrow will be another Carnaval day... and there will be more bands and crowds out there to watch...

Im currently getting pre-cast cement panels taken off the trailer. The thing I love about jobsites is they always use way too big of equipment to unload the truck lol. In this case, these panels are 6x8ft, 5 to a stack. They're using a Cat 336 excavator to lift them off with straps, because the wheel loader is too big to manuever in the area they need to unload me .

 

Had the same issue slow leak hidden by all the metalwork. Did it at home last week for the cost of parts plus down time. Bit of a puzzle to weasle the radiator out. I wasn't sure how it was going to come out at first. Of course the radiator is the first piece installed when the cooling package is assembled.

 

Please let it be a superior radiator to OEM. Any time you replace parts like try to improve on basic materials where possible
