ORD's guaranteed recipe for thinking you're starring in a post apocalyptic horror film:
    * 8-1/2 hours into your shift
    * 1,or possibly 2 or 3, more caffeinated beverages than were really required
    * Homestake Pass, westbound, after dark
    * Type O Negative, cranked just a tad too much
    * Just a sliver of moon, very low in the western sky

    and...

Voila! You are now starring in "Mad Max meets I Am Legend!!!"

Thats gotta be on the Divide in Montana I-90 if I remember right.

I raced a epic winter storm eastbound through there once. Feet in the back of me and icing in front. UGH. If I did not have that particular Dowdy truck that specific trip being so good in ice and snow I would not have made it. There have been only two other tractors in my lifetime that was awesome in winter. they don't build them anymore like that.

Normally its a nice little drive. But throw in a big winter event and get between two storms without being able to stop long its something else.

Somebody holler out "hey good buddy" on the radio last night to you? Sorry it wasn't me LOL.

I was at my drop off in the dirt lot across the street.

It's great for the loads that need it, not so great for the loads that don't! Some places won't load them. I'm back to regular Flatbed and Step deck after mine was totaled by someone slamming into it

they are great when you need them and just another PITA when you don’t...

I currently have one that doesn’t like to slide onto the upper deck. Makes closing it a near impossible experience :/

That's what happens when you don't talk nice to them.
