Usually the only place that will give you grief is the revenue department/ I mean the scales unless you have an accident and they measure you and then throw the book at you and then throw you in the book in jail!!

 

There is one route I used quite a lot near Manassas (US 15) thats restricted at the river crossing but not on the Maryland side. So I take a chance going through there.

The intrastate and interstate bus station here in Cabo Frio is about 5 walking minutes from my hotel... and the garage/ bus terminal is just across the street from here...
There are no buses from the bus station nearby straight to Rio international airport. But a bus driver told me today that I can take a bus at their garage/ bus terminal across the street and that will go to the airport... That is AWESOME!! It will save me $$ taking a cab and moving luggage in and out of vehicles a couple times... All I gotta do is to cross the street with my luggage...

 

74 is more than 65. Not sure what the problem is.
Now if you had said your 63 feet, that could be a problem.

 

This is presuming you have the home in Brazil mess done. Or are you at the point of saying the hell with it?

 

In calif, caught over length-drop the trailer and the company to send a shorter tractor to legal the length + fines. They used to make you turn around and go back but they make more revenue this way.
