What if it Snows?

Montana is 4th largest states by area, #44 by population, #46 by population density.

 

Yeah... Mild winter in Baltimore... may be like rash winter in the south of Brasil...
I was in Baltimore in July and August... the weather was fine... cool in the morning... but nice and warm during the day... I even went a few times to the "beach" in my friend's little town... she said the water was polluted but I went swimming and didn't get sick...

Anyway.... I walked out on Crete on the 10th. Too much treating me like a Dufus on truck repairs. Wasting my time. 16 days wasted.
They want me back. Finally talked to big shot. He seemed surprised. Told me I did nothing wrong. Even came up with suggestions. They screwed up.
So I told Crete I’d come back. But... Have a small business owner here. He dumped $6k into a truck for me to drive. Gotta at least do a few runs to make that up.

Now here’s the problem...
I’m loving this job. No elogs, paper. Great old 99 International. 14 liter Cummings. Everything works good. Best 5th wheel I’ve ever worked with. Smooth as butter. No governor. ... No pressure. Get done when I get done. Plenty of miles. No anal bs from wannabe administrators. FMCSA bs at minimum possible. Loving it. Making it hard to go back to Crete.
One downfall is truck is old. Gonna have downtime I know. Also is ok for 10’s. But no 34’s. Can’t even stand up in it. Only go out 2 or 3 days at a time. Then home.

Crete is giving me a brand new truck.
Crete does have much more in benefits.

I don’t know? It’s a tough decision right now.

 

I personally would stay with the small carrier. But, there is something to be said for having good benefits (assuming you mean medical, dental, 401k) and not something else?

 

Mr. @WesternPlains .... it might be a tough decision but only you know all that matters the most for you, what your plans are, what you have in mind... I can't tell you but I pray that you will find the right answer in your heart...
