Be awesome if they were like fainting goats...imagine the hilarity at the pumps whenever you surprise one...

Hell ,more people would pay to see that then for reserved parking with free corn dogs.

    Sirscrapntruckalot - Baaaad puns abound.

Just remember. Dave can treat you right as well with #5 if he doesnt have a driver for it yet.

You'll hate life if you go back to Crete. They'll act like they care, but will go right back to micromanaging you in no time. They don't want thinkers. You hold the steering wheel and only drive when the elog saya you can and stop when the elog tells you to. You do as your dispatcher tells you as well.

You have a cake job assuming the pay is right. Stick with it. If you never need to do a 34 in the truck, then don't worry about it.

I went over Vail at the speed limit again. 70 is beat to #### again through there.

Had to buy a spot at The TA though. 1959 points.

I am SOOOOO glad The OM said hold on the truck wash until we got here.

    The OM is pleased.

That is one thing. Operations was great to me. Didn't have any problem with them.
Now the dam Elog. Even though it isn't as much of a problem doing what I was doing. Which was regional dedicated wallyworld. It was still a pain. And going On Duty driving automatically. Just plain P!ss me off! Anything would set it off. And to log me On Duty Driving when the truck ain't moving is a Violation!
That thing ruined more than one 34. All you gotta do is fart and it goes On Duty Driving. They say it's detachable so you can throw it out the window now. Talk about stress!

I voiced with the company about wallyworlds anal knit picking from incompetent low pay people. Stores would complain we didn't strap stuff between loads(edit...drops). That caused damage? I told them that I never saw that. I did see much damage from boxes unsecured on top of the pallet. They would fall off. Also pallets wrapped so lightly that a box would work its way right through the wrap. As long as they were wrapped good. No problem riding.

My problem was with the mechanics everywhere. Wouldn't believe me. Wouldn't listen well enough. Ended up just wasting all my time. They guaranteed me my 34 at home every week. This used up 11ea 34's worth of time in 3 months. And all this was because of two problems the truck had when It was delivered to me at the start. I got through to them...
They're offering me a brand new truck.

I was almost #1. Dave and I have gone through this.
I can't be doing the high pay, tight time loads. I don't know whether it's that I'm just old. Or have self discipline. When I get too tired. It can't stop me. But! My brain will start trying to shut me down. Just plain trying to stop my cognitive abilities. When I'm too tired. I must shut down. I understand that this is how you make money with Landstar. Otherwise the money ain't all that great.
I worked with a guy at Crete. Had relatives with Landstar. They asked him what he made. They told him it ain't worth going to Landstar versus what he was doing. Told him he's doing good.
