Truck 2 and The OM will also be pleased.

I never believed what any dispatcher or broker said about appointments... Never! I always called customer and asked....
And when I couldn't talk to customer I would use my gut feeling.... my gut feeling was 95% right....

The snow sliding off the truck really has The OM bugged. After numerous attempts, she's given up on getting that snow.

I don't use carpets... they collect dust, dirt, more difficult to keep the place clean... specially if one cooks in the place...
I would never drive a truck with a carpet... my allergy would start acting out.. and the way I drop food and liquids on the floor... and use the burner to cook... a carpet would be a NO NO....
This is the condition of the last truck I returned to my last company.. and all the trucks that I drove for my first company as well... kept them always very clean and never paid any cleaning fee after I returned them.

I must say that I ALWAYS returned "my" trucks in much better cleaning and maintenance condition than when I got them.... except the last one from my first company... just because THAT one I got it brand new, with only 10 miles... it went straight from the dealer to my hands.. it still had all the plastic seals on the seats.... :D I did return it pretty clean, but not as immaculate as it was when I got it...

We disinfected the tractors turned into say FFE Memphis. It was in perfect condition minus a few wear and tear items like the arm rest. Quite a difference than the old iron with the inch of rust and dirt on the cab floor.

Dirt less then inch thick is not a dirt.
Dirt over inch thick will fall out by itself.

We do a lot of dedicated Freight out of the same places so I usually know what the schedules are but I've never loaded steel that early in the morning before.

This load is a same-day drop, and is only about 200 miles. I already had my other dispatcher call me so he'll load me with sheetrock this afternoon and I'll drop it somewhere in the morning. I'm hoping that'll put the truck at about $1,500 gross for basically one day's work.
