Honestly, it sounds like you've really already made up your mind. If you're happy with the money, too. Then stay, as you already love the place. Don't go back to Mega and sacrifice your happiness.

    Cattleman84 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I do have to admit. The part of the mega I dealt with all the time. The Operations Office in North Platte. I seriously liked it. Have always said they're great. But then... there's the administration in Lincoln.

This guy here.... If I need money. He can keep me rolling. But can't come up with all the extras, benefits and all.

I really gotta think..... real hard...

I also have lost family members. I have nobody. That dog in my icon saw me through it. I swear she was alive and had a soul. Then when she passed. It devastated me.

Stay where you are and see how it goes. The other place will always take you back. Leave this job for one week and your likely to find another happy trucker sopping up the gravy you mistakingly left behind. Ya know?

Like the kid who plays with an empty box while surrounded by expensive toys.

If the work environment is good, the loads are there and you get the flexibility you want. Then it just may be a good place to be. Was at a company probably longer than I should have been. The arrangement was decent, not as profitable as I would have liked. It was some of the intangibles that had me hanging in with them. Things like NO BS, headaches or hassles.

You could run for a while, see how things go for a few months, then open some negotiations. Maybe some form of cost share or something like that.

Some states have small business pools for things like health care. I was in one of these for several years. Plans were pretty good, rates not to bad.

    Erm no.

    Nope.

HA... I can have fun with that. What with old st Peter corralling a line of truckers and no dispatchers yet up there.
