Whoa, thats awesome in a way.

Why not pave the #### thing? Thats a awful lot of economic losses in that wasted cargo and food me thinks.

    Cost is the main factor.
These are some remote areas we run trains into.

Every farmer on a station couldnt afford to pave their property entrance, much less access to the paddocks.

Consider the entrance way could be over 100 miles with Ease.

and the communities that are in the middle of nowhere arent exposed to enough economic losses to get the pavement done.

Then you have to consider the damage the floods will do every wet season, not to mention the Logistics of getting supplies to the areas to attempt to build a road base.

It would be like trying to pave a road up through the muskeg of Northern Canada. simply not practical

Well, whats left is either the railroad or fly it with heavy lift. You would think the railroad will load a few hundred of those road trains and carry them 3000 miles across...

My final ace card would be ex Navy LCAC's Hovercraft. Pack em on 150 ton at a time.

Rail is not cost effective out there. Still have to use RTs from the rail head.

Flying in is Expensive so reserved only for Life critical supplies in special circumstances.

Hovercraft, dont think it would last too long out there, even if it could carry the payload AND fuel needed.

l remember Black Oak Arkansas came to fame because of their dual lead guitars. Saw them a few times at the Long Beach Arena. So when l was upgrading my music from cassette to CD, l couldn't find any BOA albums until one day l found a "Greatest Hits" CD. How can you have a BOA Greatest Hits and not include "Mutants of the Monster"?
