Woke up in Iowa this morning......it was 16 degrees and the wind was blowing at least 30 mph...no joke.
Fired up Goldie and set the high idle and about a minute later it dropped off about 300 rpm's.
Took it off idle and tried to give it some gas on the floor pedal and not much happening there either.
Ran inside and got a quart of that mojo juice in the white bottle and poured it in. After about a minute, we were good to go.
That's the first time that's ever happened to me.

My problem is that my wife custom sewed a winter blanket for me that at 16 degrees with a strong wind, I wasn't cold at all. But, apparantly, Goldie was.
Gotta keep an eye on that.

Oh to be a high rollin contractor with Landstar.

You should fuel in said Iowa with their winterized diesel, rather than that Nancy boy southern stuff.

See, this is why I don't do the whole "winter" thing. There's just entirely too much stuff to remember.

Hey guys, I have air coming out of my yellow knob. Doesn't affect anything really. But how big a deal is it?

ZMG!!! SHES GONNA BLOW... SCOTTY!! MORE POWER! Or more accurately, SPOCK!! DISABLE that GOVERNOR!!!

You got a o ring acting up under there somewhere. Should be 5 cents to replace and a three day shop wait plus 200 a hour labor.

All depends on what's making it backfeed.... anything from ice to a blown brake chamber.

A blown chamber will dump all of you primary and secondary with service brake application to zero in a few moments.
