Truck 4 bit the dust today. Was voted off the island by safety.

He had his own truck, I dispatched him.

    So Truck 5 is no longer 5, it's 4.

That's one big thing I was worried about, driving for this guy local. Truck 21 years old. It was an inspection magnet.
I'm to walk into Corp. Headquarters at Crete in Lincoln on Monday morning. Take care of paperwork. Then head to North Platte. I even broke down and bought a really nice pair of cowboy boots. I'll be wearing them in Lincoln. Can see them in the Boot thread. I'm looking forward to getting back. North Platte was great. Really good place to work out of.
Oh... and the Manager of the shops is making sure they're now my best friend. I already know my truck number. It's a brand new truck.

Had a plumber come to the house a while back, and one of the cats stowed away in his tool bag. He didn’t notice it until after he left and saw the bag moving. :biggrin_25523:

Replaced the fuel pump on the apu. Spilled diesel all over the parking lot . Oops. Put new air filter in as well and i got oil filter and fuel filter. But dont have a filter wrench and my muscles not that big lol the new fuel pump works great and she started right up !! I can tell there has never been any maintenace done on this apu other than oil change. All hoses are rotting and belts bad. Glad i bought extras for all that stuff. Was nice to break out the tool box as well. Havent turned wrenches in a awhile , a nice break from the same ol routine

Could not, but was dazzled by the "spare" mud flap. Further back you had bought new mudflaps.
Logic would have them installed by now. Then this catastrophe occurs, tools are purchased and
"trailer shade" shop repairs are made with a shiny new matching (??) one. Then there appears one
in the big sleeper (two load locks size). Question? How many did you buy originally and in what
sequence have they been put to use-or to be. Just curious about such a ruin of bad luck.

Landstar has a strict safety dept ? I talked to a landstar guy a couple months back and he was complaining about they were strict about everything. My company is to. Think its good like that, keeps bad drivers off the road and helps our safety score stay lower
