What if it Snows?

Grin, how do we know he didnt grow other things for (cough cough) medicinal purposes.

 

We don’t, do we? He did have an herbal basket. But enough about asparagus, I am boiling out a bear paw tomorrow for a Sun Valley yuppie that wants bear claws for some reason — I’ll post pics.

 

Didn’t know that cola concentrate is a hazmat load. And I used to drink that stuff! Eeeeeewwwww!
When I picked up. She told me I had 164 pounds of flammable. Plackard not required. So I only displayed the caustic.
She told me the Landstar guy in front of me. Same load. He called his safety. They told him to display both placards. So he didn’t put one of them in the placard holder. He stuck both on the sides of the trailer. Doh!

 

Came into SD at Sioux Falls. Weigh station open. But all kinds of construction. Had to drive on the bypass next to the scale. DOT officer sitting at the window. Waving you on after stopping. Was like they were fake playing weigh station!? Doh!
Then saw a billboard of a kid saying: I wanna be a Doctor. All I could think was: He wants to be a quack. Make lotsa money.
Then got to Chamberlain/Oacoma. All I could think about were the incredibly stupid persons I knew here. Didn’t want to see one of them. I mean incredibly stupid. Amazing they even function. Not all here are like that.

 

So here at the house we had a very nice evening meal.

Grilled all of the following

Small white potatoes. One bite size
Mushrooms,
Asparagus spears
New York strips, bone in. Because they taste better with the bones. Grilled just medium side of rare, then several shaves of blue cheese layered on.

Would have taken picture, but I was busy eating all of this.

 

Bear claw as in bear skeleton or as in the pastry?

One has a purpose, the other not so much, but then again I don't have any recipes that use bear stock.

 

The pastry has a purpose! To make us want to go get one. Unfortunately we only have Dunkin in our area. Larry's Pastry closed years ago and no decent shop has stepped in to fill the void. Or at least short of spending a hour and a half driving some 40 miles to find at least.
