What if it Snows?

I’m just gonna go ahead and say I hope this winter never ends because this thread is enter-frickin-taining. I’m sure @Dave_in_AZ doesn’t agree but way to take one for the team. In the midst of “can I pass a drug test?” and “who should I work for?” posts, this is a good’n.

My God dude. I swear it seemed the other day on “Recent Threads” like 7 out of the 10 ones listed were about if they could pass, how long before they could pass, they failed and now what, or they haven’t ever smoked ever but they still failed. Or a combo of all the above.

 

No, but you can Hazmat, and it usually pays pretty good, and is always available for a go to load.

 

Well I woke up someplace in Kentucky. Not a cloud in the sky, but the load isn't ready, which meant it was a great morning for some exercise.

Think it's supposed to be clear for a few days.

Several things I noticed about Indiana.
The weather is awful. Awful.
The roads in the northern part of the state are about as bad as anyplace. I mean there are some holes SO big, I'm thinking somebody is exploding IED's on the highways.
People run over A LOT of the road signs.
Trucks like to run in packs with a good 8" space cushion around them.

Good parts is there is good freight, and LOTS of good truck stops.

 

Ok. 290 miles into the trip back home, and there is no snow.
Temp has been 28F to 55F. This is like 50 to 60 degrees warmer than I've had it for about 2 weeks.
Sun is out, it's exceedingly bright. Of course after driving in a cloud for 2 weeks you'll have that.

BUT

What if it.................all changes, and it snows???

Fricken state of Colorado made us chain going over Vail today. Found out what jerk offs some drivers are while doing the drivers side. Of course before I go 2 miles I’m being passed by trucks that didn’t chain, because the restrictions had been lifted.
