I’m with you, Rocks. Never fit in anywhere. Always a loner. Trucking lifestyle fits me well. Should have done this a long time ago.

The business in Rapid. Liked it. But truck was an inspection magnet. It was 20 years old. Also Crete can just give me too much more for driving. I’m stupid not to take it.
Return to Crete is good. I could say a lot. Hold off for now.650cat425, Deere hunter, lovesthedrive and 5 others Thank this. -
It’s rather impressive, the number of trucks constantly rolling into this DC. Easy having a long line out in the street. All getting through the guard shack. 24 hours a day.
We got this covered well. Today is a lull for us. I’m sitting out for a day.
The DC itself having hard time keeping up. Never more than maybe 6 reefers loaded waiting for us. We’re all over it.650cat425, Deere hunter, Linte_Loco and 3 others Thank this. -
What if it snows on Donner? Quite the storm a brewing 17 to 19 inches tomorrow, sometimes I think I need to reconsider my choices

I don't care if I die tomorrow... no at all... I don't have any family and my death wouldn't make any difference to anybody...
I just hope I don't get in such a condition that I would depend on others to live and/or would have a miserable life... medical conditions, diseases and disabilities can change one's life completely... that also means lack of freedom... to go where you want, do what you want, the way you want, when you want it... that would be worse than dieing IMO.Last edited: Apr 5, 2020
