You know what cracks me up? If I did not laugh I would cry....

We have a FEMA bunker for the schools generally so in school hours you can keep about 1400 children safe. Or cram in 3000 souls for a ball game or something.

What do you think is going to happen when a crowd forms outside the bunker building being told that due to social distancing they cannot enter as the wedge approaches.

Because I used that in the past when I was much younger... decades ago... but as I started to feel more and more the side effects, I changed to the ginseng root... that was milder... But eventually I stopped using ginseng for other reasons I forgot why...

I added that info in my posting... maybe after you read it... that stick is made of little pieces of guarana seeds pressed together and then go thru a smoking process on some kind of grill... it's a very rudimentary hand made process done by Brazilian indians...
The short video is pretty bad quality but it shows very quickly the process of making it... all in Portuguese... and the video ends at 1:44... the rest is the logo only...

LOL... yeah... it looks like all that...

That stick is as hard as wood... sometimes even harder depending on what kind of wood...
Here is grandma gratting the stick to make it powder and then drink it with water and sugar...
That is a lot of work for just a little bit of powder... but that little bit can keep old folks up for all night... it's aphrodisiac too... BTW... guarana can be adictive too....

That is a long video... you may want to skip the middle to get to the end quickly...

Lately I have been having difficulty falling asleep at night... I think if I had half of that glass of guarana power, I might have a heart attack... :biggrin_2552:

Never mind that. Its nice that it has other valuable consolidations within the food items. Ive had a little UK Food in my time and just too Americanized with a bit of Rio Grande Food and some of the French up north. God help them... LOLZ. //teasing.

I don't expect showtime until about Midlands after noon today and waco by dinner in the evening. Oklahoma will be part of this mess about that time before it moves east into Louisana and SW Arkansas for Sunday which is the day I am worried about. Kemosabi is in harms way then. Not so much worried about us, but that valley makes tornados often so... we'll be ok.

Thats sometimes enough to keep a owl like me up all night. But everything is done that can be done. Now we sleep and wait for showtime.

All of that sounds pretty exotic, but I'll have you know that I am taking my 30-minute break near Lowell, IN, currently.

I can feel the jealousy right now.

Ty kindly, keep in mind we are not yet totally locked down as a State. Arkansas is in battle just the same. All of us are relatively free within limits. Hopefully we get through this sooner or later. Morale is good.

We may buy a few food items in the dawn. Probably big stuff like lasagna, roast beef and the like along with big crockpot foods and get a pot going. Ive got a pot recipie that is pretty generic from Alaska which sticks to ribs and a thousand miles of it too before it wears off. I'll have to hunt for that list.
