What if it Snows?

When you get your truck in shape, some chicken smoocher will try to have the company switch trucks and put himself in your truck and you into another truck needing an overhaul.

 

More than likely or they will trade mine in and have to start over with another persons F ups

 

I must say I really like my truck but another 100000 and she’ll be gone I call her my blue crusty when I’m pissed other wise is Blue Betty. Can’t complain for a company rig wish I had more power because they turn them down for trade in value later but other than that a great hauler already had radiator problems fixed new pulley and belts next gotta figure out why my defrost makes the jake act up over revs when loaded any thoughts could be the compressor

 

Looks like I'll be doing a Hostler thing starting Sunday.

Any recommendations for things for the go bag?

I'm thinking stuff for cutting seals and bolt seals,

Clip Board with paper and pens (move orders will be by radio)

a Couple of flashlights/lanterns cause it's a nite gig.

Wipes for cleaning hands. Cause I'll forget to put on gloves or take them off getting the truck controls dirty.

What else?

 

Pillow for the steering wheel....no sleeper in a hostler rig!

 

I can picture you like Sylvester the cat, running around sticking your fingers or bubble gum in each hole as it starts leaking. Lol so hard I can barely type!

 

I will need those for the commute home at least.

May have to hold off a bit so I can get them to match the P.O.S. commute car I will end up having to buy.

Is your wife o.k. with us having this pillow talk though?

 

If your heavy on an axle group you have to re work the load... It can be a real pita if you dont know how to load your equipment.

When I was running spread axle Bull racks we always registered our rigs for 86k gross... Totally eliminates that problem, provided the states you are running in allow you to to that.
