So did you buy one? Haven't had time to read the entire 183 pages of this thread. The one in the picture is identical to mine, except mine is gray. One thing I don't like is that they put in a very short pile carpet instead of rubberized flooring. Everything seems to stick to it, and it is difficult to clean without a vacuum that has rotating heads. You can't just blow stuff away with air.

No. Just pondering. The thing that holds me back the most is insurance. I'm sure it would jump about $6K a year. I want to get my own numbers as well. Going van shopping soon. Was hoping to get two used ones that aren't too old for under $30K. Think it will probably be closer to $40K though. Just pay cash for them. Unless they will lease them with a monster down and almost no monthly so I can avoid the taxes.

I'd just so love to have a sink, water, fridge, little more elbow room to work.

If you're going to get your own authority you'll want to go used. I have a new T680 and new reefer with new authority. Just the liability and collision is over $2k a month for 9 months. That doesn't include cargo. Of course liability is most of that rate so maybe buying new won't matter that much.

Oh I won't buy new. Not trailers anyway. And there's two customers that will pre load me instead of Landstar trailers, as a qualified carrier. So 3 or 4 trailers might not even be too much of stretch.

    WesternPlains Thanks this.

my cabinets are down at Owensboro now, maybe that’s what Cattleman delivered....
But the flooring isn’t here yet and they just started painting and the dozer is finally back.
I got a lot of grass to plant this week.

I hate the pull out faucets, it feels like you’re pulling a snake out of a hole in the ground.
