Try pressing the reset button for 30 seconds, if that does not work, unplug from power for about 5 minutes. Then plug back in and see what happens.

Was just flipping through some old photos and found this one... I'm the man on the ground. Was trying to pull a calf, but she had a twisted uterus. At the time I didnt know how to solve that particular problem.

There are days I miss cowboying... But I dont miss days like that one.

Yeah I have that problem as well when using the mask I have when shopping. There is no way to expell the breath from the mask completely. To the point I can feel it making me tired. Some of the air is being rebreathed.

If shes struggling in a 14%, consider second instead of third. Once in second you can place the RPM at the sweet spot between horsepower and torque. You will find that you can "Cruise" to the top without excessive redlining or other conditions that pushes all of your temperatures overboard.

    Makes sense?

That is where you buy a pulseoximeter and carry it with you. A good one that accepts motion on the finger is about 40 dollars.

Then all thats needed from it is 95% or better on room air at sealevel, ideally 99% but that range means all of your blood cells are carrying adequate oxygen to cells.

When you dip below say 89% your liver kicks in a chemical to your marrows in the thighs, upper arms and spine to produce MORE redblood cells FAST. The problem is that you need 8 weeks for a pints worth of red blood cells. In volume plasma is replaced every two days from your water drinking. Stop the water, then plasma volume falls creating other problems. You generally carry 10 pints of blood in the body or up to 8% by weight. So if you were 300 pounds.... 8% of you is bloodcells with iron in them.

If you continue to dip below 85% pulse ox saturation, you are not feeling very powerful. Thin air on the mountain, say Eisenhower Tunnel at 12000. I had my pilot experience sleep hypoxia at 13500 while we tried for 14500 one summer day over hagerstown as a drill. (Lesson being the wing will only lift you so much in V1 and VNE as well as flap conditions up to rated ceiling minus hot temperature days.) We had to spiral down to about 8000 before he came back around. That was a little bit of a sloppy flying due to my stupid hands but anyone can go down in a plane. Pick a silo down below and circle it while dropping at engine idle and no more than 140 knots and 1500fpm.

If you continued to fall... below say 80% you will find it very difficult to stay awake. If at all. Elite mountain climbers at Everest can do about 35% which is essentially the very edge of life. But they go through a living hell to do that. Most of us will crash or brady down medically towards a cardiac arrest by 70% You wont be in a condition to care at that point.
