Ive done that before many times. Rough days. Now I plan it. When I’m getting work done, I’m not leaving till next day (or later if needed).

It does not matter. the whole of the earth and the air we breathe IS water. Compress air, squeeze out water with a air dryer and theres your brakes.

HOWEVER. Glad hands stay on trailer always. A commandment from a trucker's God will be somewhere III or V. If there is no trailer there is usually always a dummy glad hand connection behind tractor on post or bolted to sleeper wall to put gladhands on that.

Leaving them dangling on catwalk where they can get into the shaft among other problems is a announcement to the entire industry that driver does not give a #### and is not professional. HOWEVER there are times you can secure the gladhands with dummy mates slipped onto themselves and strap them somewhere out of the way.

In certain weather conditions such as below -30 certain kinds of material used in air lines will snap. And leave the truck stranded until natural rubber or similar airlines are replaced.

Water in lines is not the problem. Its ice. In the old days we used to carry a pint of special alcohol that will eat the ice without harming the rest of the braking back there.

 

Lmao glad my company picks up tab on trailer. I definatly wasnt trying to buy 4 new tires right now. Now if i can just stay out of the frickin jobsites and not get nails in em. 3 of the 4 tires they pulled had more than 1 nail in them.
